Jon Hamm is a gentleman as the Mad Men star holds the door for a female companion during night out with actress Anna Osceola

They starred together in the 2015 Mad Men series finale.

And Jon Hamm reunited with actress Anna Osceola on Sunday night, as the pair enjoyed a night on the town with friends in Los Angeles.

Ever the gentleman, the 47-year-old Bridesmaids actor could at one point be seen holding a car door open for one of his female companions.

The native Missourian looked dapper for his night out, which began at Rao’s, an Italian restaurant in Hollywood, before finishing at the San Vicente Bungalows.

Hamm donned dark jeans with a collared shirt and a blazer, and capped off the look with dark framed glasses and black boots.

Jon rocked a clean-shaven look for his catch up with Anna, who played Clementine in the 2015 Mad Men finale, Person To Person.

The outing comes as Hamm’s latest screen outing, Richard Jewell, continues to underwhelm at the box office.

It has currently netted a little over $16million, three weeks after its initial release.

Richard Jewell, which is the latest offering from director Clint Eastwood, dramatizes the story of the innocent man who found himself targeted in a devastating media frenzy following a deadly blast at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.

Starring Paul Walter Hauser, Sam Rockwell, Kathy Bates, Jon Hamm and Olivia Wilde, the biographical drama is based on the security guard falsely accused by the media for playing a part in the bombing.

The veracity of the movie’s storyline in which Hamm features has been called into question.

Jewell was initially hailed as a hero after he spotted the pipe bomb but was soon identified by journalists including the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Kathy Scruggs as an FBI suspect.

Scruggs, portrayed by Olivia Wilde, is depicted in the movie trading sex with an FBI agent, played by Hamm, in exchange for learning the suspect’s identity.

And the publication hit back, denying such an exchange ever took place.

‘The portrayal of our reporter is shocking, untrue and an obvious Hollywood trope,’ AJC editor Kevin G. Riley told AFP.

‘The film commits the very sin that it purports to accuse the media of. It literally makes things up in telling the story.’
