Jurgen Klopp insists he WILL stop moaning about Liverpool’s fixture congestion

Jurgen Klopp insists he WILL stop moaning about Liverpool’s fixture congestion because ‘it doesn’t seem to help’ as he admits complaints over early kick-offs are ‘a waste of time’ after his side were handed two VERY short turnarounds in December

Jurgen Klopp says he will finally stop moaning about Liverpool‘s congested fixture schedule because it’s ‘a waste of time’ and it ‘doesn’t seem to help’.

The Liverpool boss has been left furious with the dates and kick-off times his squad have had to deal with in recent weeks and has taken out his frustration on Sky Sports and BT Sport on more than one occasion.

But asked how he felt about Liverpool being handed two very short turnaroundsafter the December fixtures were confirmed, Klopp was resigned to things staying the same.

Jurgen Klopp has admitted that his complaints over fixture congestion are a ‘waste of time’

Speaking in his press conference on Friday, the German said: ‘My thoughts are clear.

‘Whatever I said doesn’t seem to help so I’ll stop talking about it. It changes nothing. It’s a waste of time.’

Asked whether there was anything he could do to change the situation, Klopp added: ‘The last thing I want to do is create a headline.

‘I speak about these things in a general way because it’s a general problem.

‘In this moment we play in 25 hours, it’s not my problem. I don’t have the answer, we aren’t involved in these decisions.’
