The singer – who hails from New Zealand – looked effortlessly cool as he took to the Bridgestone Arena stage in a bleached denim jacket, a black T-shirt and dark skinny jeans.

The concert followed a theme of Under the Influence, with the famous performers pairing their own iconic work with songs by artists who musically inspired them.

He was joined on the night by the program’s alumni, as well as country heavyweights, including Blake Shelton, Ingrid Andress, Brothers Osborne and Luke Combs.

‘What actually is showing up with your voice is an immaturity,’ the judge explained.

‘What I mean by immaturity is tone and phrasing,’ he continued.

He then suggested that Keith practice some more and seek the services of a teacher to assist him.
