Kelce off to South America

AMERICAN football star Travis Kelce is filling a gap in his schedule by heading to Argentina to support Taylor Swift as she kicks off the South American leg of her Eras tour.

According to NBC News sources, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 34, will visit the 33-year-old pop star in the South American country.

A source close to the couple confirmed Kelce’s travel plans on Wednesday. “He has to be back on Sunday for practice on Monday,” the insider explains.

The Chiefs have no further games scheduled until Nov 20, when Kelce and his teammates will face his brother Jason Kelce’s team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

All of this comes just hours after the football star teased his plans to travel south of the equator, with Taylor scheduled to perform three shows in Buenos Aires, Argentina, beginning Nov 9, followed by two nights in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Travis’s brother hinted this week on their podcast, New Heights, that he might be packing his bags for a special trip.

“Got anything you are looking forward to going to?” Jason Kelce asked his brother on the Nov 8 episode of their New Heights podcast, to which Travis replied, “Not really. I might just say f–k it and just go somewhere nice, I don’t know.”

Although he kept tight-lipped about the exact location, the Chiefs player could not help but hint at a warm getaway during his bye week. “My skin’s getting real pale,“ Travis teased, “so I gotta go somewhere sunny.”

“Somewhere south?” Jason continued as Travis said, “Closer to the equator.”

The Philadelphia Eagles centre provoked his younger brother to inquire, “South of the equator?” which earned a laugh from Travis.

The 34-year-old and the Grammy winner are no strangers to always rooting for one another. Swift has been cheering on Kelce’s football games in recent months, and it is now his turn.
