Kendall Jenner filed a trademark application for her own beauty line

Kendall Jenner may be following in the footsteps of her sisters Kim and Kylie by launching her own makeup line.

On May 2, the 23-year-old model filed papers to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in an effort to trademark both ‘Kendall’ and ‘Kendall Jenner’ for a beauty brand.

The trademark filing has sparked speculation that the reality star has her very own cosmetics brand in the works, which could include everything from nail polish to shower gel.

According to the filing, Kendall’s beauty brand could include quite a wide array of products.

The filing specifically mentions fragrances and perfumes, hair care preparations, hair styling preparations, bath and shower gels, bubble bath, body powders, body lotions, body creams, face lotions, body milks, skin toners, and skin cleansers.

It also lists beauty masks, body scrubs, facial scrubs, body oils, deodorant for personal use, lip balm, lip gloss, cosmetics, cosmetic preparations, nail polish, nail polish remover, and nail care preparations.

That doesn’t mean that each of these items would be included under any future Kendall Jenner cosmetics brand, only that the star would have the option to sell them.

She certainly has the potential to make big bucks on such a venture. Her younger sister, Kylie, has already made an estimated billion dollars through Kylie Cosmetics.

And her older sister Kim’s KKW beauty is also quite popular. As of June of last year, it had done an estimated $100 in revenue.

So far, though, Kendall has just stuck to modeling the goods, not making them. Most recently, she’s been serving as a brand ambassador for the skincare company Proactiv.

Previously, she’d also starred in campaigns for Estée Lauder, for which she had her own palette.

Filings with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office have proven in the past to be good hints as to upcoming projects that the family is working on.

However, sometimes members of the family simply trademark names preemptively, and may file broad trademarks before zeroing in on specific products.

Earlier this year, TMZ revealed that Kim, Khloe, and Kylie filed trademark applications for the names of their kids, Saint, North, Chicago, True Thompson, and Stormi Webster.

The documents detail plans to put the children’s names on a variety of products including clothing lines, toys, and skincare.

Kylie, 21, has apparently also requested to trademark ‘Stormiworld,’ inspired by a mash-up of her daughter’s name and her boyfriend Travis Scott’s Astroworld album.

The young mom introduced her fans to Stormiworld during the tot’s first birthday celebrations, bringing to life a magical Stormi-themed universe with the help of event planner Mindy Weiss.

Also included in the trademark filing is a request to be able to sign endorsement deals in the kids’ names so the tots can tout other people’s products.
