Khabib Nurmagomedov BACKS Conor McGregor to KO Dustin Poirier inside two rounds… but insists American ‘can beat this guy’ if the fight stretches into the later rounds

  • Conor McGregor takes-on Dustin Poirier in the early hours of Sunday morning
  • The Irishman is the clear favourite to reassert his dominance at lightweight
  • His hated rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov, has predicted a win for ‘the Notorious’
  • However, the Russian believes Poirier can stun McGregor in the later rounds

Khabib Nurmagomedov has weighed-in with his prediction for Conor McGregor‘s clash with Dustin Poirier, backing his hated rival for an early knock-out victory.

The reigning lightweight champion has fought and crushed both men, submitting the American in round three, the Irishman in the fourth.

Nurmagomedov retired in October last year after another dominant submission victory over Justin Gaethje. McGregor is desperate for a rematch with the Russian, who has insisted a lightweight contender must ‘impress’ him out of retirement.
