Leonardo DiCaprio has been pictured for the first time on the set of his new film Don’t Look Up with costar Jennifer Lawrence.
In photos obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com, the actor, 46, could be seen on the set in Boston, Massachusetts on Monday looking quite the intellectual with his smart black glasses and beard.
The upcoming Netflix comedy will see Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer play low-level astronauts going on a media tour to warn the world of an asteroid set to destroy Earth in six months.

The film marks a first for the critically-acclaimed actor, who has yet to star in a Netflix movie until now.
Leonardo was looking every inch the scholar in his button down plaid shirt, corduroy jacket, and ruffled mane of brown hair.
The actor appeared deep in thought as he made his way through the set, surrounded by various colleagues.
While Leonardo was not wearing a face mask, the set was obviously taking precautions against coronavirus with one production worker seen wearing a covering in the background.

The sight was a far cry from the scene Jennifer was involved in that same day.
The dramatic scene involved Jennifer’s character getting arrested by a seemingly undercover officer wearing a jacket, jeans, and badge on his hip.
Jennifer held her hands up in the air as the officer pointed his gun at her, before apprehending her.

Jennifer and Leonardo are just two of the many big names starring in the Adam McKay-directed film.
The Netflix movie boasts a cast consisting of Meryl Streep, Cate Blanchett, Matthew Perry, Timothee Chalamet, Jonah Hill and even Ariana Grande.
Leonardo and Jennifer play Dr. Randall Mindy and Kate Dibiasky, two astronomers who identify the apocalyptic asteroid and begin a media tour to warn the world of the collision.
However, they find no one believes them.
