Liverpool team bus ‘is BLOCKED from getting to Old Trafford and has tyres let down as Man United fans appear to make attempts to get match called off for a second time’ – but confusion reigns over whether players are actually on board a second vehicle

A vehicle believed to be Liverpool‘s team bus has reportedly been blocked and had its tyres let down ahead of the Reds’ visit to Manchester United for their rescheduled Premier League fixture.

Jurgen Klopp‘s side travel to Old Trafford after their May 2 clash was postponed due to protests against United owners the Glazers that saw fans trespass onto the Old Trafford turf. 

United have bolstered security presence ahead of tonight’s fixture, due to kick off at 8.15pm BST, but images on Twitter show Liverpool’s squad have encountered a delay. 

According to The Athletic’s Daniel Taylor, an official Liverpool bus’ tyres have been let down after being blocked in a side street near the team hotel.
