Lucas Piazon hits out at Chelsea’s loan policy after not playing for the club since 2012

‘After a certain point the connection is no longer beneficial’: Lucas Piazon hits out at Chelsea’s loan policy after not playing for the club since 2012… and is currently on his SEVENTH temporary move with Rio Ave in Portugal

Chelsea outcast Lucas Piazon has criticised the club’s loan policy.

Piazon has been owned by the Blues since 2012 but hasn’t played for the first team since the year he joined.

The 26-year-old us currently in the midst of his seventh loan spell with Portuguese side Rio Ave.

And he hasn’t been impressed with how Chelsea have treated him.

Piazon told Maisfutebol: ‘After a certain point the connection is no longer beneficial for both parties.

‘At first, I felt really good. I went through the U-23s, got to the first team and, even in the first loans, I felt Chelsea had expectations and interest in me.

‘I believed I could come back and have opportunities at any time.

‘Later, as time passed, I became just another business for them.

‘They send me out on loan with the expectation of selling me and making some money with me. I think that’s more or less what they think.’
