Magnitude 2.1 earthquake shakes South Australia – waking residents up early in the morning

A magnitude 2.1 earthquake struck South Australia this morning, with many residents waking up to the early morning tremor.

The earthquake struck at 5:40 am and had a depth of one kilometre, with its epicentre in Mount Barker, 33 kilometres south east of Adelaide.

It was felt at Wattle Park, Huntfield Heights and Nairne.

No damage has been reported.
