A man has left bystanders shocked after a police visit to a property south of Perth turned violent.

In footage shared online, a concerned local filmed two police officers conducting a check at a property on a quiet street in Warnbro on Friday.

The incident quickly turns violent, as the 37-year-old man goes from ranting and swearing to attempting to grab one of the officer’s guns as they wrestle him on the ground.

The footage posted on social media shows the two officers knocking on the door of the property before they’re alerted to the homeowner’s presence by someone hitting a broken garage roller door and loudly yelling from behind it.

‘Can you come out please? What’s going on?’ the police are heard asking, as the man behind the door tells them to ‘f*** off!’

The garage door is seen to quickly open as the homeowner storms out yelling ‘What do you want?’ and the police attempt to calm the man down.

Gesturing across the street to the shocked onlookers, the distressed man says to the officers to ‘Tell them to f*** off, it’s none of their f***ing business’.

‘These c***s don’t want to listen’, the man continues ranting, ‘I pay the bills, I pay the rent, I pay for the formula, I pay for the nappies and when I get home I get treated like a c***.’

In comments, a local said he and his partner attempted to ‘de escalate’ the situation as children played on the street in the suburb an hour from the Perth CBD.

‘The cops didn’t even ask so I don’t think they were keen to do any extra work,’ the local said.

The footage went viral on TikTok, and the same concerned local shared a second video on Tuesday captioned ‘bonus footage’, where viewers can see the man on the ground being arrested by the two officers.

‘So he says ive (sic) got ur (sic) gun and still cops stay cool,’ the follow-up video is captioned.

In the footage, the man is seen on the ground being restrained by one of the officers when he makes a grab for the cop’s gun.

‘So you’re going to arrest me?’ the man questions them, as he repeats ‘I’ve got a gun in my hand.’

The second officer quickly reacts, grabbing the man’s hand and removing it from the weapon.

‘Okay, alright,’ the man concedes as he lays flat on the ground before being handcuffed by the police.

WA Police told Daily Mail Australia a 37-year-old man will appear in court at a later date on the offence of Disorderly Behaviour in a Public Place.
