Manchester United confirm they will be without Paul Pogba for a ‘few weeks’ after sustaining thigh injury against Everton… and in-form French star will now miss Europa League last-32 tie vs Real Sociedad

Manchester United have been dealt a big injury blow after confirming that Paul Pogba will miss the next ‘few weeks’ of action with games coming thick and fast.

Pogba injured his thigh late on in the opening period of the 3-3 draw against Everton on Saturday in the Premier League, in which he was replaced by Fred at Old Trafford.

Now United have confirmed the extent of the damage and it is a big blow to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side with the fixture schedule ramping up.  

United confirmed on Monday: ‘A scan was required to assess the extent of the damage and, unfortunately, Pogba now faces an enforced spell on the sidelines with key games at home and abroad coming up.’
