United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be tempted to go into the market for a striker this summer, with the futures of his current forward line uncertain.

It remains unclear whether Edinson Cavani will stay at Old Trafford next season. The 34-year-old signed a one year deal last summer and whilst there is an option to extend it; the Uruguayan has been linked with a return to South America.

Anthony Martial could also potentially be on the move after a lacklustre campaign, the France forward has only scored seven goals in all competitions this season.

‘I’ve heard rumours, but that is it. Rumours are rumours. Said Silva

‘At the end of this season, it’s something that gives me more motivation to work – it’s a sign that what I have accomplished has borne fruit, and the path has been good.’
