Mark Wright delightedly boasted of his prediction prowess when he revealed he had guessed Giovanna Fletcher would win I’m A Celebrity on Friday night.
Taking to Twitter, the TOWIE star, 33, who starred on I’m A Celeb in 2011, bragged that he had cashed in on his former love rival Mario Falcone’s sister’s victory, however shortly after he inexplicably deleted the message.
Mark and Mario’s history is the stuff of reality TV legend, after they fought for the affections of Lucy Mecklenburgh, who was unfaithful to the tailor with the TV presenter, in what was one of the show’s central storylines in its early seasons.

Giovanna stormed to victory on Friday night, when she became the first ever Queen of the Castle, in the first series to be based in Wales rather than Australia.
After the show had aired, Mark seemed keen to showcase his betting abilities as he shared a screenshot from a WhatsApp group entitled ‘The Boys’, in which he insisted she would take the crown after the show launch last month.
Accompanying the image, he penned: ‘So I’m A Celebrity launched Nov 15th. On that night at the start of the show, I told my mates the below…
‘I guess the winner nearly every year. If you want easy money next year, come to me. At one point she was 20/1. I still knew!! Well done to the deserved winner Giovanna.’

Despite his apparently giddy nature, Mark appeared to have changed his mind as he deleted the tweet and instead pledged allegiance and offered congratulations to Vernon Kay, who came in third place on the show.
His updated message read: ‘Well done Vernon mate. You absolutely smashed it !! Always knew you would. The nice guys always shine in this show as there is no where to hide. You were YOU from the start to finish. Look forward to having a pint soon’.
Any TOWIE fan worth their salt, will recall the Lucy-Mario-Mark conundrum.
