Married At First Sight fans praise ‘awkwardly adorable’ newlyweds Patrick and Belinda

They were blissfully married on Sunday night’s episode of Married At First Sight.

And as Patrick Dwyer and Belinda Vickers quickly proved to hit it off after meeting at the altar, it appears fans couldn’t get enough of the ‘awkwardly adorable’ couple. 

Rushing to Twitter, one fan wrote: ‘We must protect Belinda and Patrick at all costs.’

‘Bel and Pat. I’m cheering for you! God love ya both,’ wrote a second.  

‘I really love Patrick and Belinda! I never have no hope for anyone on this show but I’ll be devastated if they don’t make it,’ commented a third. 

‘Belinda and Patrick are the most awkwardly adorable two people I’ve ever seen have a conversation,’ wrote another. While another said they were ‘made for each other’.

Meanwhile, others were quick to chime that Belinda and Patrick appeared to have signed up to the Channel 9 show for the right reasons (love and not fame).

‘Please be a match that works cos you both seem genuine,’ one viewer commented.

Another said: ‘They both seem genuine and not here for Instagram?

Belinda, a door-to-door sales woman, and Patrick, a personal trainer, appeared to immediately hit it off after meeting at the altar.

Upon seeing Belinda for the first time, Patrick, 27, called out: ‘Holy moly guacamole.’

Speaking to producers, the fitness trainer admitted he was immediately attracted to his bride. 

‘If I’m being absolutely honest, I think she’s one of the most beautiful girls I’ve seen, to be honest. I can see she’s very kind, genuine, very warm, and has a great heart.’
