Married At First Sight‘s Luke Eglin put his controversial split with Poppy Jennings behind him last month by enjoying a brief fling with a stunning blonde.
The FIFO worker and father-of-two, 39, dated a woman named Fiona Claassen for two weeks in February, after she reached out to him via Instagram.
During their short-lived romance, Luke introduced Fiona to his family and they went on a romantic trip to Queensland together, before mutually ending things.

Fiona, who is a fan of Married At First Sight, told Daily Mail Australia: ‘We chatted over Instagram, exchanged numbers and went on a few dates and a trip together.
‘Everything was great, but it all moved too quickly and we realised it wasn’t going to work. The pressure of the show [and media interest] was distracting, too.
‘Luke is a very bubbly and talkative person, and is great with his family.’

Their fling coincided with the fallout of Luke’s split from Poppy.
Poppy, a mother-of-two from Wollongong, claimed on Facebook that she had been ‘gagged’ from saying what really happened between them.
‘I couldn’t say what was happening behind the scenes, as it was too controversial,’ she wrote on February 18, sparking a whirlwind of speculation.
Fiona revealed that Luke struggled emotionally amid the public scrutiny.

‘He’s been concerned and is a proud man,’ she said. ‘His main worry was about his family and keeping them out of the spotlight.’
Earlier this week, Poppy revealed on Instagram that she’d been speaking with ‘lawyers’ to work out her next steps.
The former couple filmed their wedding last September buy split two weeks later.
Luke Eglin declined to comment when contacted by Daily Mail Australia.
