Married At First Sight’s Bryce Ruthven thanks fans who say he’s been ‘bullied’

Bryce Ruthven stormed off in a fit of rage on Wednesday’s episode of Married At First Sight when Sam Carraro called him a ‘c**khead’ and slammed his behaviour towards wife Melissa Ruthven.

And now Bryce, 31, has thanked fans for their support on his personal Facebook post this week, admitting that he’s ‘speechless’ at how he’s being portrayed on screen.

In the post obtained by The Wash on Thursday, the former radio star included comments on the show’s official Facebook page where viewers criticised Channel Nine for allowing Bryce to be ‘bullied’ by his co-stars.

‘It’s good to see the general public can see what the experience was really like for us,’ Bryce added, referencing wife Melissa, 31.

The exchange began after Sam immediately asked him: ‘It seems like 90 per cent of the people at this table have a problem with you. How do you feel about that?’

‘I don’t care,’ Bryce calmly responded, causing Sam to spit back: ‘Have you had a good look in the mirror and thought – maybe I’m the problem?’

‘No. I’ve broken some of the mirrors in the apartment, ’cause of my Gonzo nose,’ Bryce said, referring to an infamous insult Sam tossed his way in a previous episode.

Things then got even more heated, as Sam called Bryce a ‘c**khead’ and slammed his behaviour towards Melissa.

‘Hey, the good thing for you is you’ve had about seven weeks to think what you’re gonna say for one night, I’ve been busy with my wife,’ Bryce bit back, before claiming Melissa was ‘falling in love’ with him.

Sam responded: ‘Just wait until she goes to the other women tonight, and finds out everything that’s been going on.’

The move clearly hit Bryce hard, as he immediately stood up and stormed out.
