George Foreman has advised Mike Tyson to scrap his plans for a trilogy fight with Evander Holyfield, with the two icons weighing-up a bout 24-years after their last.
Tyson, 54, returned to the ring in November, drawing with former four-weight world champion Roy Jones Jr, 52, in an exhibition clash watched by millions.
Next, ‘Iron Mike’ is setting his sights on revenge against Holyfield. The now 58-year-old knocked-out Tyson in 1996 before their 1997 match ended in chaos, with the maverick heavyweight disqualified for biting his rival’s ear.

Holyfield revealed his team is ‘talking to Mike’s management,’ but Foreman isn’t on-board with hype.
‘With this one, Mike should let sleeping dogs lie,’ Foreman said on Twitter.
Foreman, now 72, made his own shock fighting comeback. ‘Big George’ spent the first part of his career mixing-it with fellow titans Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier, before returning after a 10-year absence in 1987.

At 45-years-old, Foreman then become the oldest heavyweight champion of all time, beating 26-year-old Michael Moorer.
‘Iron Mike’ is a little older and looks to have no plans to take-on the likes of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, but he’s determined to bag more clashes with old foes.
Holfield has said: ‘I’m still training for this, I know it will be some day this deal will happen and I’m ready for him. I’m doing OK.’
