Millie Mackintosh dotes on daughter Sienna as she heads out for a low-key stroll… after speaking out about mum-shamers and her post-baby body

She welcomed her daughter Sienna to the world with her husband Hugo Taylor six months ago.

And Millie Mackintosh looked every inch the doting mum as she headed out for a low-key stroll with her little one in London on Saturday.

The former Made In Chelsea star, 30, wrapped up warm in a light brown teddy bear coat, while Sienna looked adorable in a cream fluffy onesie.

Millie layered the cosy coat atop of a brown jumper and black jeans.

She opted for comfort on her feet with tan suede boots and donned a grey beanie which matched her daughter’s pom pom hat.

Millie appeared in high spirits and put on an animated display as she chatted to Sienna whom she cradled in her arms.

Earlier this week, Millie reflected on her first six months of motherhood in a candid new interview.

The former Made in Chelsea star spoke to Mother And Baby about the affect ‘mum police’ trolls have had on her self esteem as well as her changing relationship with her body.

‘There are definitely some mum police out there that really will like jump on you and criticise anything you do. You can’t please everybody,’ she explained.

‘I really just try and take a deep breath, put my phone down or go for a walk if it’s really got to me but I think you just have to rise above it.’

But the star admitted she’s found huge positives in social media in her role as a mum, especially when she shared her family’s experience when Sienna was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia at three-months-old.

Sienna had to spend six weeks in a brace and will continue to have weekly appointments and scans every six months until she is three-years-old.

Millie said she grew emotional when her followers shared their own experiences of the condition with her and it helped her through.

She has also received an outpouring of support after sharing her honest relationship with her post-birth body, admitting she is a stone heavier than when she got pregnant, but she is feeling confident six months after the birth.

‘I think a lot of my identity has always been in how I look and how I feel in my body and having it change beyond recognition – it was a shock,’ she said.

‘I found it particularly hard after I’d had the baby and actually adjusting took a while. It was hard not to be critical of myself, even though I knew my body created a life.’

She added now ‘I love looking at pictures of when I was pregnant and just being like, wow, like my stomach was huge! And just knowing that Sienna was in there. And I’m so in awe of my body now I definitely have a lot more respect for it. And yeah, it does look different!’
