A two-storey home in Sydney has been completely destroyed by a vicious house fire.

Eight trucks carrying 30 firefighters rushed to the scene at Oyster Bay, near Miranda in Sydney’s south, after receiving an emergency call shortly before 11am.

Live footage from a helicopter hovering above the scene captured the intensity of the blaze as flames consumed the entire home.

Authorities confirmed all occupants of the house were safely evacuated and no injuries have been reported.

Firefighters initially held concerns the blaze would spread to neighbouring properties but were able to bring the fire under control.

Fire and Rescue New South Wales are preparing for investigators to arrive at the scene and determine the cause of the fire.
