Paris Hilton received fertility advice from Kim Kardashian before welcoming her first child

Paris Hilton sought advice from Kim Kardashian prior to welcoming her first child via surrogacy.

On Monday, the 41-year-old heiress revealed that she and her husband Carter Reum had a baby boy after undergoing IVF with him nearly two years ago as suggested by her friend Kim Kardashian.

While speaking on The Trend Reporter with Mara podcast in January 2021, the socialite said that the 42-year-old reality star – who had three of her four children via IVF – had recommended her own doctor.

Kim used Beverly Hills IVF ‘magician’ Dr. Andy Huang, according to Vogue.

‘[Kim was the one] who told me about that,’ the entrepreneur said. ‘I didn’t even know anything about it.’

She added: ‘I’m happy that she told me that advice and introduced me to her doctor.’

The Paris: The Memoir author revealed that she and her then-boyfriend Carter Reum, 41, were considering having boy and girl twins and had already underwent the egg extraction procedure.

‘We have been doing IVF, so I can pick twins if I like,’ she said. ‘I’ve already undergone the egg extraction procedure. It was tough, but I knew it would be worth it. I did it a couple of times.’

She added, ‘Just doing it together and having a partner that is just so supportive and always makes me feel just like a princess all the time … that it wasn’t that bad.’ 

Then, the Stars Are Blind singer – who was previously engaged three other times – went on to talk about how the entrepreneur was her ‘soulmate’.

‘[Carter] is just my dream guy,’ she said. ‘He’s 100 percent [the one]. We talk about [planning a wedding] all the time and planning our babies’ names and all of that.’ 

A month after the interview, the couple got engaged on February 13.

They tied the knot at a lavish wedding ceremony held at her grandfather’s Bel-Air estate in November 2021.

During the video interview, she said she was ready to begin her next chapter and become a mother.

‘I’m really excited to just move on for the next step of my life, and finally just have, like, a real life,’ she explained. ‘Because I really do believe that having a family and having children is the meaning of life.

‘And I haven’t got to experience that yet, because I didn’t feel like anybody deserved that love from me, and now I finally found the person who does.’

The Kardashians star offered her close friend advice after having undergoe the IVF process herself three times during her marriage to her ex-husband Kanye West.

Kim conceived and carried her first child – daughter North, nine – naturally and had her second child – son Saint, seven – via IVF.

Due to her high-risk and difficult pregnancies, the former couple opted for surrogacy to have their daughter Chicago, five, and son Psalm, three.
