Parramatta River body believed to be Xiaoling Li, woman who went missing from Ermington home

Woman’s body is found in a Sydney river in search for 66-year-old woman

  • Body of Xiaoling Li believed to have been found in Parramatta River on Tuesday
  • The 66-year old failed to return to her western Sydney home on Monday 
  • While the body is yet to be formerly identified it is believed to be Ms Li 

A body found in the Parramatta River is believed to be a woman who vanished from her western Sydney home yesterday. 

NSW Police said Xiaoling Li, 66, was last seen at her Ermington home at about 5.30pm on Monday.

When she failed to return home, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command commenced a search into her disappearance.

Shortly before 11.30am on Tuesday, police found a body in Parramatta River and while it has yet to be formally identified, it’s believed to be Ms Li.
