Paul Abdul was ridiculed on social media early this week after she posted photos to Instagram showing her with a filtered face that made her look decades younger than her real age.
The 60-year-old dancer and singer could have passed for a teenager in an over-the-top filtered photo with Kathy Hilton at her star-studded holiday party.
The overly tweaked photos looked particularly over-the top, as Paula — who showed off her youthful figure last month while performing at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade — already looks considerably younger than 60.
The former American Idol judge appeared to have only applied a filter to herself in the photo featuring Hilton, as the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star looked relatively untouched.

Paula, who looked lovely in a sheer green dress with a starburst pattern of beads over her chest, had eerily smooth and unblemished skin in the photo.
The image also lacked some of the definition that was featured on Kathy’s visage.
A short clip included in the post showed Paula chatting animatedly with Kathy, and the video didn’t appear to have the filter effects.

Even Heidi Klum, who at 49 is Paula’s junior by 11 years, looked older than her in another filtered photo that also featured Charlie’s Angels star Jaclyn Smith.
Paula’s face looked fuzzy in a low-resolution image from her carousel featuring makeup artist Kályd Odeh, who previously did her makeup when she made an appearance in October at the Fashion Trust Arabia Prize Awards in Qatar.

Despite the obvious manipulation on several of the photos, not all appeared to have been as heavily edited.
Paula looked closer to her age in a beaming photo featuring RHOBH star Crystal Kung Minkoff, and another image of them joined by Terri Seymour also appeared somewhat more natural.
The choreographer’s photoshopping work was similarly muted in a photo of herself in the DJ booth with Paris Hilton as she provided some tunes for the party.
Despite the photoshop fail, several friends and party guests commented approvingly on her Instagram post, but some of her fans were less forgiving.
‘Someone stole Paula’s Insta..that’s an entirely different face!’ wrote one user.
‘This looks like a completely different person,’ echoed another person.

‘Did the account get hacked? Who am I even looking at?’ complained another user.
One person tried to share advice for the singer. ‘Paula, you’re beautiful. There’s no need to edit your photos to the point that people don’t recognize you,’ they wrote.
‘Wow. I don’t understand this. Everyone knows what you actually look like,’ complained another person. ‘The amount of editing here is embarrassingly obvious.’
One fan teased her: ‘Paula, we’ve all seen your face before, and this ain’t it 🤣.’
