Powerball jackpot soars to an incredible $80million – the biggest prize this year

  • Powerball lottery has jumped to a whopping $80million as there was no winners
  • Thursday’s draw awarded six division two winners but no division one winners
  • It’s first time since July 2020 that an Australian lottery has gone to $80million

Next Thursday’s Powerball lottery has soared to $80million after there were no division one winners in Thursday’s draw.

Thursday night’s Powerball lottery had six division one winners but not a single division one winner, meaning that the draw jackpots to $80million next week.

The $80million draw next week will be the biggest Australian lottery offered this year and will be the first time a prize of that size is offered since July 2020.

It is the first time since July 2020 that an Australian lottery has reach $80million

In that draw it was a Victorian couple who took home the massive $80million prize.

The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1300 on Thursday April 14, were 17, 1, 24, 12, 5, 9 and 19 and the Powerball number was 3.

The Lott spokesperson Lauren Cooney said they are expecting ticket sales to rise before the massive draw.

‘We are expecting up to one in four Australian adults to have an entry into next week’s $80 million Powerball draw, so make sure you get in early to avoid the late rush,’ she said.

The spokesperson urged ticket holders to register their tickets so winners could be called immediately about their life-changing prize.
