Princess Mary proved once again that she’s a thrifty royal by wearing a beautiful strapless floral gown to King Carl Gustaf‘s Golden Jubilee in Stockholm on Thursday.
The Danish Crown Princess, 51, stunned in floor-length black and white floral print dress by Danish designer Lasse Spangenberg.
The Australian-born royal has donned the gorgeous gown twice before – once on September 6, 2017 hosting a dinner celebrating the Mary Foundation’s 10th anniversary and again on August 8, 2018 at a gala dinner hosted by Queen Margrethe.

On this occasion she refreshed the recycled look with blue and silver jewellery, dainty hair clip, black belt, black clutch bag and a thin black neck scarf that draped to the back of the dress.
Her hair was waved and fingernails were painted red, while Prince Fredrick wore a navy suit and bow tie.
The last time Princess Mary wore the dress in 2018 it had black piece of fabric spanning from the chest, across her right shoulder and onto her back.
She and Prince Fredrik wore their blue royal sash to symbolise their role in the Danish Royal Family.

The jubilee is four days of celebrations that culminate with a military parade through the capital.
The royal family as a whole put on a glittering display as they arrived at the event.
Crown Princess Victoria, 46, wowed in a voluminous orange gown while her sister Princess Madeleine, 41, donned a stunning strapless outfit in lilac.
Sister-in-law Princess Sofia, 39, chose an eye-catching fuscia pink dress for the evening.
The royals were also joined by King Carl Gustaf, Prince Daniel and Prince Carl Philip in Stockholm.
Carl Gustaf, 77, is the first king in the Swedish monarchy’s more than 1,000-year history to reach 50 years on the throne.

Earlier this year the princess showed off her casual style and hardly broke a sweat while on a 14km hike just outside a small Danish town.
On Friday August 18, Princess Mary made an appearance to cut the ribbon at the inauguration of the Skudestien hiking trail near the town of Tornby in North Denmark.
The 51-year-old sported a laid-back look with her brunette hair pulled back into a simple ponytail and very little makeup.
Mary wore hiking trousers and trainers from outdoor clothing brand Arc’teryx with a simple grey t-shirt under a stone-coloured button-up blouse.

Layered around the princess’s neck were a $AU570 beaded green MaRe GOLD necklace, a $AU3,567 personalised necklace from Julie Sandlau with the initials for her four childre, and a Halberstadt $AU720 Necklace with an ‘F’ pendant for her husband Crown Prince Frederick, both of which she has worn on dozens of public appearances.
Another of Mary’s favourite pieces of jewellery fans have seen her wear on numerous occasions is the 18K gold knot bracelet she wore from high-end brand Dulong and on the other wrist she had a MaRe GOLD $AU798 white beaded bracelet.
