PSG ‘can sign Moise Kean from Everton for just £18m next summer’

PSG ‘can sign Moise Kean permanently for just £18m next summer’ after a buy option was included in his loan deal… with Everton ready to accept a £7m loss on the former Juventus striker

  • Everton striker Moise Kean joined PSG on loan shortly before the window closed
  • It has been claimed that the Ligue 1 giants can sign him for £18m next summer
  • The Toffees paid an initial £25.1m to land Kean from Juventus just over a year ago
  • He had struggled for regular playing time under Blues manager Carlo Ancelotti

PSG have the option to buy Moise Kean from Everton for just over £18million next summer, according to France Football.

The striker moved to the Parc des Princes on loan towards the end of the delayed summer transfer window after failing to break into Carlo Ancelotti’s starting XI.

And it seems his time at Goodison Park may come to an end next year after the Ligue 1 giants reportedly included a buy option in their deal with the Toffees.

France Football claim that PSG can make Kean’s stay permanent by paying Everton an already agreed fee of €20m (£18.08m). He is yet to appear for his new club due to the international break.

Everton splashed out an initial £25.1m to sign the Italian from Juventus last summer, with a further £2.4m in potential add-ons.

The 20-year-old is unlikely to have triggered any of those clauses following a frustrating first season on Merseyside which saw him score just two goals in 33 appearances in all competitions.

The vast majority of those came from the bench, with Kean struggling to convince previous manager Marco Silva, caretaker boss Duncan Ferguson and Ancelotti of his qualities.

Kean made four appearances for Everton this season – scoring in Carabao Cup wins over Salford and Fleetwood – before being allowed to join PSG temporarily.

The Premier League leaders are interested in signing Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik, who worked under Ancelotti in Naples, as a replacement for Kean in January.

The Poland star would provide back-up for Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison.
