Queen Camilla makes gushing comment about her marriage to King Charles as she thanks royal fans for 18th anniversary card

Queen Camilla made a gushing comment about her marriage to King Charles as she thanked royal fans who sent them a card for their wedding anniversary.

King Charles, 74, and Queen Camilla, 75 celebrated 18 years of marriage on April 9.

In 2005, the couple had a civil ceremony at Windsor Guildhall before their religious blessing at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle.

To commemorate Charles and Camilla’s anniversary, the UK royal fan who runs the Instagram account ‘The Duchess of Wonderland’ sent the royal couple a card with their well wishes.

Earlier this week, the woman received a response from the Queen’s personal office.

The letter features a portrait of the couple, which was taken on their visit to Wrexham football stadium in December 2022.

Dressed in a beige long-line coat with stitching down the front, Camilla wore a a fur-lined hat and was pictured holding a black leather handbag.

Meanwhile, King Charles was suitably smart in a navy blue coat and suit.

On the reverse side, a printed message read: ‘Thank you for your thoughtful message for our 18th Wedding Anniversary.

‘It is hard to believe how quickly time has flown by…!’

The message also features Camilla’s official emblem and appears to have been signed by the Queen too.

Sharing photos of her royal correspondence, the delighted royal fan wrote: ‘After a stressful few days at work, receiving this response today put a massive smile on my face.

‘A personalised thank you card from Queen Camilla for the warm wishes sent for Their Majesties 18th wedding anniversary.’

Unsurprisingly, the letter was a hit with the royal fan’s 2,800 followers.

‘Love this card,’ one wrote. ‘Awesome,’ another added.

Alongside a heart-eye emoji, a third wrote: ‘Congratulations!’

Earlier this month, the person who runs the ‘Duchess of Wonderland’ account also received a letter from the Prince and Princess of Wales’ office.

In the picture, which was shared on Instagram, the beaming parents can be seen walking behind their three children, Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven and Prince Louis, four, on Christmas Day in Sandringham.

The accompanying note wished the royal fan a happy new year and thanked them for their thoughts.

Last week, the Crown finished filming for its final season when they recreated Charles and Camilla’s wedding day on the streets of Rochester.
