Rami Malek cosies up to girlfriend Lucy Boynton while she takes a break from filming The Ipcress File as the couple enjoy a drink in Croatia

She’s been hard at work filming a remake of the 60s film The Ipcress File.

And Lucy Boynton was enjoying a break from her busy filming schedule as she had a drink with boyfriend Rami Malek in Croatia on Thursday.

The actress, 27, cosied up to her Oscar-winning beau, 38, while unwinding in Zagreb after travelling to the country to resume work on the series.

Lucy opted for a stylish green printed jacket and sunglasses as she chatted to beau Rami during their low-key afternoon.

The Bohemian Rhapsody star was seen leaning back to lie on his girlfriend’s shoulder as they had a refreshing beverage together.

Lucy flew to Croatia to resume work on the series after filming begun in Liverpool earlier this month.

The Ipcress File is an ITV six-part series remake of the 1965 British espionage film starring Michael Caine. 

Filming began last month on Exchange Street West, close to Liverpool Town Hall, which had been transformed into 1960s London.   

While most of the film is being filmed in Liverpool, shooting will move to Croatia later this year to continue filming.

Rami and Lucy have been dating since 2018 after meeting on the set of Bohemian Rhapsody.

They were seen at various red carpet events throughout 2018 but their rumored romance was not confirmed until April, when Us Weekly revealed that they were in fact dating.

The outlet’s source said: ‘They met while filming Bohemian Rhapsody in London. He is so into her. He goes and visits her in London all the time.’

Rami finally publicly addressed their relationship in January 2019 at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.

He was accepting his Breakthrough Performance Award and said on stage: ‘Thank you, Lucy Boynton. 

‘You have been my ally, my confidant, my love. Thank you so much.’      

Bohemian Rhapsody won four of the five Academy Awards it was nominated for.

Along with Rami’s win John Ottman took home the Best Film Editing honor, while team Paul Massey, Tim Cavagin and John Casali earned the Best Sound Mixing honor. The film also won Best Sound Editing for John Warhurst and Nina Hartstone.

The film also grossed more than $900 million worldwide.
