She’s the Australian star known for her roles in shows including Packed to the Rafters and Halifax f.p.

And on Tuesday, Rebecca Gibney thrilled fans when she shared a throwback image of herself from the nineties.

The 55-year-old proved she hasn’t changed a bit from 1996, sharing the image on Instagram.

In the picture, the blonde opts for an old Hollywood glamour look with soft curls, dewy foundation and a black winged eye.  

Looking every inch the bombshell, Rebecca finished her look with a bold red lip. 

She revealed in her post that she thought she was shooting a short film but ended up filming an episode of the hit show, This Is Your Life. 

‘TBT circa 1996. Shooting a short film… or so I thought… until Mike Munro showed up and announced I was about to be on the next episode of “This Is Your Life,” Rebecca wrote in the caption. 

She added: ‘(I did think at the time maybe it happened a wee bit too soon) But what an awesome night it was.’ 

One fan commented underneath: ‘Gorgeous then, gorgeous now.’

Another added: ‘Has there ever been a more beautiful woman? Geez Louise.’

Last month, Rebecca shared a black and white photo from her time in a beauty pageant in the eighties.  

Rebecca started her career as a model, and during an interview with The Daily Telegraph in December 2014, she revealed she was often plagued by self-doubt in her younger days. 

But she said she’s enjoying the process of getting older, admitting she feels more confident in herself.

‘Apart from a few extra lines and a few extra kilos I still feel the same as I did 20 years ago, just a little wiser and a lot more comfortable with myself,’ she told The Daily Telegraph at the time.

She added: ‘Obviously I still like to take care of myself but I have no desire to stop the clock. We are all ageing and acceptance brings peace.’
