Reese Witherspoon hilariously embarrasses her son Deacon, 16, with TikTok video

Her son, Deacon Phillippe, 16, released his first single on Friday.

And Saturday saw proud mom, Reese Witherspoon, do what any loving parent would do – she attempted to embarrass her son.

The 44-year-old shared a sweet video with the 16-year-old where she said she wanted to create a TikTok dance video to his new track.

She’s not a regular mom, she’s a cool mom! Reese Witherspoon hilariously tried to embarrass her son Deacon Phillippe, 16, on Saturday by coming with the idea to make a TikTok dance video to his new single, Long Run

‘When your kid has his first single… you gotta dance! #longrun @deaconphillippe @ninanesbitt,’ she captioned the post.

While bopping along to the track, Reese found herself having a light bulb moment.

‘Deacon! I should make up a TikTok dance to this song,’ she exclaimed.

It comes after Deacon Phillippe dropped his first single on Friday.

And mom Reese Witherspoon, 44, couldn’t have been more proud as she helped promote the 16-year-old’s track Long Run on Instagram, calling it the ‘perfect summer bop’.

Amusingly the actress also tried to adopt some youthful lingo to appeal to teens around the same age as Deacon as she called the track ‘sick’ and ‘dope’.

But before he could show her how to dap, he had to explain the difference from dabbing, a celebratory gesture where one puts their arms up to the side at a diagonal angle while resting their head in the crook of their arm.

‘That trend died, like, two years ago,’ explained her son.

Reese and Ryan were married from 1999 to 2006.

Her relationship with talent agent Jim Toth first came to light in early 2010, and they married in March 2011.

She shares a third child with him, a son named Tennessee, seven.
