Stylist reveals how YOU can achieve salon-worthy curls at home during lockdown – using toilet roll tubes and hair clips

A stylist has created a unique and easy at-home hair hack to achieve salon worthy curls, without the fancy equipment.
While colouring and cutting might be a bit risky for some, styling is a way of having salon style locks, to ensure you’re looking your best for those business video calls, family Zooms – or even FaceTime dates.
Whilst everyone is staying safe at home, and has extra time on their hands, Ozzie Rizzo London has encouraged ladies to get creative in a bid to achieve an at-home lockdown hair look.
And you don’t need to fret about not having the tools at home to create that fresh salon look, because it can be created with items you are likely to have at home – including 10 toilet rolls and hair clips.

The experts say around 10 toilet roll tubes are needed – depending on the thickness of your hair (pictured left). Pictured right, the finished wavy look
The first step is to wash the hair and comb through, before drying with a paddle brush.
Then, apply a small drop of smoothing cream or oil, run the product through the hair with fingers, and section your tresses into three-four inches wide.
Next, grab around 10 empty loo rolls and starting from the ends, wrap the hair around the roll and continue upwards, before securing each section with a bobby pin.
Ensure sure to always roll backwards away from the face, and continue around the whole head.

Then, apply a generous amount of hairspray, hold heat onto each roll for 10 seconds, and unclip and unravel each roll slowly.
Continue around the whole head, brush through with a wide tooth comb or soft brush, finish with hairspray and voila!
