Romelu Lukaku enjoyed a one-man victory parade on Sunday after Inter Milan were crowned Serie A champions, ending an 11-year wait for glory.

The San Siro club did their part on Saturday, beating Crotone 2-0 before Atalanta’s 1-1 draw with Sassuolo 24 hours later secured Antonio Conte‘s side the title.

Jose Mourinho delivered Inter’s last Italian championship back in 2010, as they also ended Juventus‘ stifling nine-year dominance of the division.

Lukaku couldn’t wait to celebrate with his supporters, going live on Instagram while he rode through the streets of Milan leaning out of his car’s sunroof.

The Belgian powerhouse chanted with fans and whirled an Inter shirt above his head after capping a superb season, clearly enjoying his time in Italy.

The former Manchester United forward has slammed in 21 goals in 33 games this term, and he still has four games to add to his tally.

Lukaku already has 61 goals in 92 games for the Nerazzurri, far out-scoring his record with the Old Trafford side.

‘I am so happy for all the Inter fans in the world, for the team, the staff, the President and everyone,’ Lukaku told Sky Sports Italia.

‘It was a wonderful year for us, I am truly proud to play for Inter. I wanted to come out here and celebrate along with the people. I told my friend this was the best way to experience it, to be there with the fans.

‘For me and many of my teammates, this is our first league title, so it’s a moment we wanted to share with them.’

‘Last year was good too, but this was the best of my career. It’s wonderful and I hope to continue like this. I want to thank everyone, I am truly so happy.’
