Sabrina paid tribute to her fellow 16 recruits, saying: ‘I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you all by my side. I am so proud and lucky to say I have come out of it with friends for life.’

She championed their efforts, regardless of where the finished on the course, writing: ‘I mean who in hell can say they fell out of a helicopter backwards?!’

The Richmond footy star also gave a special mention to Merrick Watts and Nick Cummins, proudly writing: ‘we did it!’

Sabrina thanked her partner Lilii Peta for her support and ‘giving me the self belief to go in the first place and jump into the deep end (out of a helicopter).’

‘I guess I had what it took,’ she added, ‘This is only the beginning.’

After Ant declared the trio had passed the selection course in the finale, Sabrina embraced Nick, Merrick and the DS.

She said: ‘I have so much respect for the SAS, to embark on this and to pass selection, and for them to embrace me as one of their own is something I’ll never be able to explain how much that means to me.’
