Sacha Baron Cohen joins Natalie Portman and her family for an A-list yacht cruise on Sydney Harbour

Hollywood suffered a mass exodus last year as swarms of celebrities fled Down Under to avoid the ravages of coronavirus.

And on Sunday, A-list actors Sacha Baron Cohen, 49, and Natalie Portman, 39, enjoyed the perks of living in a largely coronavirus-free zone as they set sail on Sydney Harbour.

The famous duo, who both relocated to Australia with their families late last year, were spotted relaxing on a yacht with their respective children.

They were joined cast-members from the upcoming film adaption of Carmen – Paul Mescal, Rossy De Palma and Melissa Barrera – as well as Natalie’s husband Benjamin Millepied, who is also the director of Carmen.

Sacha’s wife Isla Fisher didn’t appear to attend the casual cruise.

Throughout the day, Natalie, Sacha and Benjamin were seen enjoying a leisurely conversation, while the Carmen cast-members chatted amongst themselves on the lower deck.

Natalie looked effortlessly stylish for her seafaring outing, donning a black long-sleeved jumper and dark blue jeans.

She went makeup-free for the low-key occasion and threw her dark tresses back into a messy chignon.

Meanwhile a decidedly windblown Sacha showed off his flare for fashion by wearing a floral-printed button-up shirt and blue shorts.

Natalie has previously spoken about how quickly her children have adjusted to the Australian way of life since they moved Down Under from the US in September.

Last month, Natalie appeared via a cross on Jimmy Kimmel Live and revealed that her children have started using the local language while living Down Under.

Jimmy had asked if Natalie’s son Aleph, nine, and daughter Amalia were picking up an Australian accent.

‘More words,’ Natalie revealed.

‘When you want something, they say lollies instead of candy, tomato sauce instead of ketchup. When you want what you want, you gotta say it like the locals,’ she told Jimmy.

‘I’d like some tomato sauce with my chips,’ Natalie said with a slight Australian accent.

Sacha and Isla are rumoured to have fled the bright lights of Hollywood not only because of COVID-19, but also to avoid the Trump administration.

‘They didn’t want to raise their kids in Trump’s America,’ an insider recently told Sydney Morning Herald of the couple’s decision to move to Australia.
