Samantha Jade teams up with Rachael Finch and Emma Watkins for new music video

She recently released a video for her new single Back 2 Back. 

And on Thursday, Samantha Jade told Daily Mail Australia she was ‘humbled’ that her celebrity friends –  Jules Sebastian, Rachael Finch and The Wiggles’ Emma Watkins –  took part and supported her. 

‘I was so humbled, that truly is the essence of the song, women supporting women,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.

The video highlights the importance of friendship, and Samantha said she selected her female friends who embody empowerment. 

‘To see when they all showed up and you know, brought their A game and brought so much love and happiness and just a beautiful spirit to the video,’ she said.

Samantha continued: ‘Individually all these women stand for empowerment, they stand for, you know, truth.’

‘They stand for kindness and I think that once you see the video, you will really feel that,’ she added of her new single.

‘I wrote this song about the importance of the sisterhood and the bond between women that is real and strong.

‘When we stand by each other through the highs and lows, we are celebrating each other and there is an unspoken empowerment.’

Back 2 Back is the third single from her upcoming fifth studio album. 

Previously speaking of her forthcoming record, Samantha told Star Observer: ‘It’s more about listening to my fanbase and myself.

Just going, ‘What do my fans like to hear from me?’ and I’ve kind of gone back to a sound that I was inspired by.’

‘When I started writing when I was fifteen and moved to LA, I was writing songs because I loved Brandy and TLC and J-Lo, so it all made sense to me.’
