Scott Tweedie announces he WON’T be leaving E! network despite both his shows being axed – as he prepares for exciting new gig in LA
Scott Tweedie has revealed his next career move after his shows E! News and Pop of the Morning were axed this week.
Speaking to TV Tonight on Thursday, the 32-year-old Australian presenter confirmed that he won’t be leaving the E! network despite his shows being boned.
Instead, Scott revealed he will be making the move from New York to Los Angeles to take on a new role at the network.

Scott, a former Studio 10 presenter, moved to New York at the end of last year after scoring his dream job hosting E! News and Pop of the Morning with Lilliana Vazquez.
However, on Wednesday, E! announced that both Scott’s shows had been axed.
According to Variety, NBCUniversal (the parent company of E!) is looking to ‘streamline its programming and restructure internally,’ partly as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

A third program, In The Room, has also reportedly been boned as a result of NBCUniversal’s restructure.
In May, Scott had proudly revealed to TV Tonight about how much he had achieved in five months after moving to the Big Apple.
‘I’m getting some of my best work done. I’m getting more eyeballs onto the work I’m doing. It’s a very nice experience for me, at the moment,’ he declared at the time.

Scott made his debut on Australian screens in 2009 when he hosted ABC children’s show Prank Patrol.
After leaving the show in 2013, he joined Channel 10 music video show The Loop and co-hosted Liv Phyland, until resigning from the program in November 2019.
After announcing his departure, Scott proudly told 10 Daily that he was headed for bigger and better things.
‘Ten has given me so many awesome opportunities, and now it’s time to take a big step into something new,’ he said.
