Selma Blair models turquoise swimsuit as she poses poolside in stunning Instagram photos

She celebrated the milestone of getting back on her beloved horse for a riding session last week.

And Selma Blair is clearly in confident mood these days, posting two stunning swimsuit photos to her Instagram on Thursday.

The actress, 48, who has multiple sclerosis, posed up a storm in the turquoise one-piece as she sat poolside at her LA home.

In one shot, the Cruel Intentions star gazed intently into the camera lens as she sat with one arm draped across her raised knee.

The swimsuit which she described as ‘modern 80s’ had halter straps and a peep-hole bodice and was cut high on the hip. 

In a second pic, she is posed with her head turned to one side and her short hair slicked back from her face.

Blair revealed her MS diagnosis in 2018 and has documented her struggles and her treatments on her social media.

She also shares inspirational messages and dotes on her son Arthur, who is now nine and whom she shares with her fashion designer ex Jason Bleick.

On Wednesday, she posted a snap of her only child picking a red rose in the garden of their home.

In the caption, she wrote: ‘patient days with my son, picking a tea rose in the shade of a sunburnt patch. Taking it all in. The slow rhythm of these summer days. We send you care and small celebrations of chosen things. thank you universe for this boy.’

Last Saturday, Blair went horse-riding even though, as she explained on social media, she couldn’t ‘feel my left leg, or where my hips are.’

Nevertheless, despite the challenges, she managed to ride a few circuits of the ring and take a few low jumps on the gray called Mr. Nibbles.

‘Today, we managed to get it together to have a few minutes and I could not stop smiling,’ she shared. 

‘We took it slow. I didn’t criticize my equitation too much. I am a mess with MS,’ she went on. ‘I am going to learn how to use this body, brain and emotions. I am so grateful to have a dear horse and trainer.’
