Yesterday’s footage of the brawl, shared to Twitter, shows a man in a white t-shirt and a man in a red t-shirt fight with the encouragement of bystanders.

One onlooker told MailOnline about a number of other violent incidents that led to at least a dozen people being thrown out of the popular Christmas attraction.

They said: ‘The first big fight happened while people were queuing to get into the main beer hall in the Bavarian Village.

‘It had shut for an hour and was re-opening and a huge queue had formed outside. Security were saying it would take two hours to get in and people started getting agitated and pushing to get to the top.

‘Then two men started fighting and throwing punches and everyone was getting pushed back but there was nowhere to go. Security had to move back a barrier to stop people getting trampled, it was quite scary and it’s really lucky nobody was hurt.

‘They had to form a human chain to stop people storming past them into the hall. One of the men was left bleeding and we saw the other getting arrested a bit later.’

The individual added that despite moving to a different area the violence flared up again.

‘They put the Bavarian Troubadors back on who play sedate folk music! But as more people started spilling in more fights started breaking out.

‘They threw out at least a dozen people and lots more were shouting at the security staff. They stopped serving alcohol at the bar because of the fight.’
