A beauty YouTuber has purchased $560 worth of fast fashion outfits and tried them on for her followers, to see whether they are worth the budget price tag.
Shannon Harris, who has 3.19million fans on the video sharing platform, decided to shop at one of her favourite retailers, but not everything she bought lived up to the hype.
The New Zealand-based makeup artist, 27, modelled six looks in the footage, choosing a standard size 12 for each item.

For her first look, a double denim ensemble, Shannon found the cropped top sat nicely against her chest, while the jeans did little to accentuate her trim pins.
‘The top I will definitely keep but the jeans aren’t tight enough for my liking. There is a lot of room around my hips and down the side of my legs,’ she said.
She wore the top a week later with matching denim shorts to a house party alongside her fiancé Hamish Kennard.

Shannon planned on purchasing a size 10 to wear on New Year’s Eve but it sold out before she finished filming the video.

While it couldn’t be worn in an everyday location Shannon argued that it would make for a fun and flirty party look and fit ‘perfectly’.

‘Right now it’s not doing anything for my chest and it has a tassel you can whip around as well,’ she said.

And the final khaki coloured mini dress she tried on – which had marks on the front that looked like nipples – was otherwise a ‘win’ for her summer wardrobe because it fit around her midsection.
Shannon’s fans argued that some of the ill-fitting clothes could be altered to fit her body better and would save her returning the items.
