Shoppers are going wild for Kmart’s new $25 designer-inspired tassel throw

Kmart Australia is selling a $25 natural coloured cotton throw with a chunky tassel trim that looks almost identical to high-end designer brands costing four times the price.

The Anko Aruba throw was praised by shoppers part of the Kmart Desired Homes Facebook group, with many saying the buy is hard to find as it’s often sold out.

One woman from Victoria who managed two get her hands on two blankets asked the online community for styling tips.

‘Can you please show me how you’ve styled your couches with it? Bonus points for light couches with light cushions,’ she wrote.

Several people shared images of the throw neatly folded on the arm of their couch, while others covered one side of the entire lounge with the blanket.

‘I have them on two sofas with contrasting cushions,’ one woman wrote.

Others opted to place the throw on the foot of the bed as a nice accessory to match the pillows.

The affordable product would be the perfect addition when updating your bedroom or lounge room.

Similar products on the market from brands such as Adairs and Temple & Webster often have a minimum price tag of $80, making the Kmart buy a bargain.   

While the product is machine washable, many said to wash with care as the tassels often get tangled together.

To prevent tangling from occurring, customers suggested using rubber bands to create ‘ponytails’.
