Simon Cowell ‘donates his £1million fee from Marks & Spencer advert to children’s charity’

Simon Cowell has reportedly donated his £1million fee from his recent Britain’s Got Talent Marks & Spencer advert to a children’s charity.

The talent show mogul, 60, is said to have asked the retailer to support Together For Short Lives over the next year with his commercial cheque.

The children’s charity helps families and kids with a life-limiting or threatening condition and is reportedly set to lose 50% of its annual income due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Simon has been appearing in Marks & Spencer adverts during the Britain’s Got Talent breaks called #MyMarksFave, which were filmed in January.

The star is joined by his fellow judges David Walliams, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon, as well as co-hosts Ant and Dec.

Simon and his co-stars try different options of food supplied by the retailer and vote for their favourite.
