The iconic Australian chip Tasty Toobs that was removed twice from supermarket shelves is set to be rereleased.
Smith’s Crisps confirmed the bite-sized snacks will make a comeback – but an official launch date is yet to be announced.
The customer favourite was first discontinued in 2001 but returned in 2007 only to be removed a second time in 2015.
A Smith’s spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia: ‘It is with the passion and support of our superfan community that we’ve been able to bring back Tasty Toobs – they have been instrumental in helping to make this happen.
‘We’ll be making more announcements soon so stay tuned!’

After hearing rumours of the return of the popular chip snack, fans flooded the Facebook page sharing their joy with others online.
‘OMG my mouth literally started watering at the thought! Cannot wait for this moment!’ one person wrote.
‘This has seriously made my day, I loved Toobs. I hope they take the same,’ another said.
‘Fantastic news. Better start saving now for all the cartons I’ll be stocking up on in case they disappear again,’ a third added.
Another said: ‘Finally you return you beautiful thing. I’ll give you a shelf on my pantry.’
