Social media lit up after President Donald Trump announced on Twitter that he and First Lady Melania Trump have tested positive for COVID-19.

Padma Lakshmi, 50, posted a one-word response that simply read, ‘Karma’ for her nearly 740,000 followers on Twitter.

Actress and activist Sophia Bush, 38, echoed many others who pointed out that Trump has referred to the coronavirus pandemic as a ‘hoax’.
