Spencer Matthews lays out the strict conditions under which he’d return to Made In Chelsea

Spencer Matthews shot to fame as one of the original cast members of Made In Chelsea, remaining a permanent fixture on the structured reality series from 2011-2015.

And as the show creeps closer to turning 10-years-old, the reality star, 31, has hinted that he could be up for a one-off reunion episode to celebrate the milestone – but only under strict conditions.

‘I’d maybe do it if it was all the old cast – and just for a one-off. And there was a big cheque involved!’ he told MailOnline. ‘Otherwise I wouldn’t see the point. It would just be doing it for the sake of it.’

A big return? Spencer Matthews has laid out the strict conditions under which he’d return to Made In Chelsea for a 10 year reunion

Spencer – who last appeared on the show during its 10th season, seen romancing Ollie Locke’s then-love interest Emma Walsh – is now married to model Vogue Williams, with whom he shares son Theodore, 19 months.

The star has very much settled down, also becoming sober – a far cry from his party-boy days on MIC.

‘I had a good time on that show,’ he went on. ‘Maybe I dragged it out a little bit. But I appreciated what it did for my TV career. But if I returned to it, I’d probably confuse people.

‘My nature has changed so much. My character would be so different, it almost wouldn’t make sense. And I wouldn’t be ending up in a bar, upside down.’

Spencer also admitted he doesn’t keep in touch with anyone from the show these days.

‘I speak to Jamie [Laing] still. And Hugo [Taylor] and Millie [Mackintosh]. But really that’s it. So yeah, there wouldn’t be much point to me returning, unless it was with those guys or unless there was a big cheque involved!’

Spencer has appeared on the likes of The Jump, Celebrity Masterchef and his own show, Spencer, Vogue and Baby Too, since he left MIC.

Caggie left the show in 2012, after its third season – but told MailOnline in September that she would potentially entertain the idea of a 10-year reunion return.

‘If it was for a good cause… who knows? Never say never,’ Caggie said, sure to give the legion of fans of the original cast a glimmer of hope.

She added: ‘I don’t like reality TV. A little Ironic, I know. But I would 100 per cent love to do more TV – just never reality. I would love to do more acting.’

Of Made In Chelsea in its current form, she admitted. ‘I don’t watch it.’

And of a potential full-time return, she said: ‘Probably not.’
