Stan releases emotional trailer for upcoming family drama series Bump about teen pregnancy

Stan have offered viewers a sneak peek at the streaming platform’s upcoming original family drama, Bump, by releasing a trailer for the series.

Bump follows the story of teenager Oly (Nathalie Morris), whose world turns upside down when she has a surprise baby with Santi (Carlos Sanson).

‘This explains the random crying and violent mood swings,’ Oly’s mother Angie, played by Claudia Karvan, tells says after her daughter welcomes her baby.

The 10-part series was filmed in Sydney. The Australian series reunites the team behind the Logie award-winning drama Love My Way.

In addition to starring Claudia Karvan, Angus Sampson is also on the cast as Oly’s father, Dom.

Set in an inner-city Sydney high school, Bump explores unplanned motherhood, unwelcome new relatives, and impulsive moments in life.

The show follows the story of schoolgirl Oly, who becomes the gossip of the school as she chooses to continue her senior year at school with her daughter strapped around her chest.

The show introduces a crop of new talent including lead Nathalie Morris, Carlos Sanson and Catalina Palma.

It will also star fellow newcomers Safia Arain, Paula Garcia, Ioane Saula, Peter Thurnwald and Ricardo Scheihing Vasquez.

Created by Kelsey Munro, the Stan Original series will also see actress Claudia Karvan act as a producer on the show.

Bump was directed by Gracie Otto, Geoff Bennett, and Leticia Caceres.
