Stars don their homes with VERY ostentatious Christmas decorations

As with every holiday, stars of the showbiz world are in competition to put on the biggest and best display. 

And Christmas 2019 is no different for the dizzying heights of the UK A-list, as a legion of stars, including the Beckhams, Tamara Ecclestone, Jonathan Ross and Gordon Ramsay, have gone all out with both the interiors and exteriors of their homes to make sure they are ready for the festive season. 

In true-Ecclestone style, Tamara has blinged up her breathtaking £70million home in ostentatious style, complete with a huge tree, a model sleigh and baubles, while other stars have gone for lavish strings of dazzling lights to brighten up the foliage and fronts of their lavish homes. 

Naturally, Tamara has gone all out for the festive season, in her very own style. Her multi-million pound home is the stuff of legend – complete with 57 rooms and standing on the most expensive street in London.

Tamara, the eldest daughter of Formula 1 chief Bernie Ecclestone, lives with her husband of six years Jay Rutland, and their beloved daughter Sophia, five, and often goes wild during the festive season.

The incredible house – built in the early 1900s – has four storeys above ground and two below and its value has almost doubled since the two-year renovation project Tamara masterminded with London-born but Los Angeles-based designer Gavin Brodin was finished in 2013.

This year, the philanthropist and former-socialite erected her eye-popping decorations a whopping six weeks before Christmas and shared a series of images during the decorating process. 

Every Christmas, Tamara pulls out all the stops, decorating her home with a different festive theme. Last year, it was The Snowman – and she spent an estimated £50k so far on the festivities. Tamara invested in over £5k to decorate both inside and outside the property, as well as £500 on an advent calendar.

The latter was a custom-built wooden structure, for Sofia, with a gift behind each door. Tamara also invested in a £4k ‘magic mirror photo booth’. The heiress also threw a party especially for Sofia, for which she invited 50 guests. This cost an estimated £3k, on top of a hire fee at a swish hotel for £1k. 

Victoria Beckham, 45, meanwhile proved she is well and truly in the festive spirit as she shared a glimpse of her Christmas decorations earlier this month, with a ‘minimalist’ tree. The exterior of their £31m home was equally chic, with shimmering golden lights adorning the bushed outside their home. 

In what is no doubt a treat for their kids – Brooklyn, 20, Romeo, 17, Cruz, 14, and Harper, eight – David and Victoria, aged 44 and 45 respectively, have ensured their decor is all-singing and all-dancing.

The Ramsay’s home – which rings in at an eye-popping £7million – was tastefully adorned with icicle lights around the edge of the house while the front bush was laden with sparkling lights to match lights in the tree.  

Gordon, 53, his wife Tana, 45, their kids Megan, 21, Jack, 19, Holly, 19, and Madilda, 18, will be marking their first Christmas with the youngest of their clan – eight-month-old son Oscar.

Although he is famed for his wild Halloween parties, Jonathan Ross made sure he got in the festive spirit with some icy blue lights strung around his ivy strewn home.

His Halloween parties are the stuff of legend, as every year he turns his home into a real life house of horrors last night as a host of celebrities in spooky outfits mixed with his neighbours at his annual extravaganza. 

Jonathan’s bashes are so packed with stars that he has previously enlisted the help of the police to protect both the guests and the public during the raucous and lavish parties. 

In 2016 it was revealed that the officers on duty were funded by the tax payer as an angry neighbour was appalled by the discovery after he submitted the Freedom of Information request following the high-profile party, and found the cost of the operation to be £531.80, none of which was funded by the broadcaster.

The Apprentice star Luisa Zissman, who shot to fame on the show in 2015, clad her mansion in wildly ostentatious designs, including a bauble laden arch over her door and lifesize toy soldiers. 

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have gone for all out drama with their home, as they shared a snap with their eight-month-old son Rex while sitting in front of their OTT door. 

She added a caption reading: ‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. The autumn door is down and winter has arrived…. I’ve packed away the orange leaves in the shed ready for next year.
