Steph Curry admits he made two of the five full-court shots in viral video

‘Just in case anybody was wondering’: Steph Curry reveals he made only two of the five full-court shots in fake viral video

Steph Curry has decided to clarify just how many full-court shots he did make in the fake video that went viral.

The clip, captured by director Ari Fararooy, showed the Golden State Warriors superstar sinking five incredible shots from the other end of the court but the ridiculous nature of the footage led to questions over its authenticity.

The reigning NBA champions did confirm to Dailymail.com that the video was fake on Monday and now Curry has shed light on the footage.

‘I did make two of them though, just in case anybody was wondering,’ he said Tuesday.

The video, which was posted to social media by Sport Illustrated, split the internet with fans undecided over whether the clip was real.

It was later revealed the viral clip of the star making the five shots was fake

The majority of social media users believed the clip to be fake but others claimed if anyone could pull off the feat it would be the four-time NBA champion.

One Tweet read: ‘But what if it is real that just shows you how good Steph is. It could be real. He’s that damn good!’

Some social media users felt only the two-time MVP could have made the feat possible

‘It has to be fake but if there was one man who could do it, it’d be that fella,’ another added.

One more claimed the star was ‘so unreal’ it made it hard to decide if it was genuine.

Before it was confirmed to be fake, some fans were adamant the footage was indeed real.

One praised Curry’s ability as they said: ‘Here is another Robot in the game of sport. Men like Dinho or Steph curry just don’t miss.’

Before it was confirmed to be fake, some fans were adamant the viral video was somehow real

Another added: ‘This reminds me of those old insane Nike commercials that looked real… except this is real. Somehow.’

‘If it was anyone else I might have called fake but it’s Steph we are talking about here,’ another claimed. ‘Ray Allen eat your heart out.’

The basketball clip was filmed by the same director who shot NFL star Tom Brady hitting a controversial hole-in-one earlier this year.
