Super Bowl hot mic footage of Donna Kelce with Travis and Jason after Chiefs beat Eagles

REVEALED: Hot mic footage shows bittersweet moment Donna Kelce first celebrated with son Travis after his Super Bowl glory – before consoling his brother Jason after the Eagles lost – who told her how ‘fun it was watching you all week’

Hot mic footage has surfaced of the bittersweet moment Donna Kelce celebrated Super Bowl glory and defeat with her opposing sons, Travis and Jason, after Sunday’s showdown.

Jason Kelce and the Philadelphia Eagles were narrowly beaten 38-35 by Travis Kelce the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night on a night where they became the first brothers to play against each other in Super Bowl history.

The surfaced on Tuesday from the NFL, and shows Donna celebrating with her victorious son Travis in the beginning.

Travis gives his tearful mom a huge hug and says to her: ‘Ah, I love you mom. You had the week of your life, I had the year of my life. How ’bout this, huh?’

As the ticker tape piled up on the field and cameras continued to circle players on both sides, Jason is then filmed looking for Donna unaware that she is walking up behind him.

‘I’m looking for my parents,’ Jason says. ‘I’ve already seen Trav. I don’t know if they’re down here yet.’

He takes a moment to congratulate Chiefs punter Troy Townsend, who tells him they’ll both be back at next year’s Super Bowl, before he turns around and sees his mom.

‘It was so fun watching you all week,’ he tells her. ‘I love you. Go celebrate with Trav.’

Donna was so split with her allegiances, she wore a 50-50 Chiefs and Eagles outfit to the game, even down to her footwear – she wore one Chiefs shoe and another Eagles shoe.

Speaking in the aftermath of his victory, Travis underlined how happy he was to see his mother’s pride.

‘To see my family be in all its glory, get all the flowers, my mom being the center of attention on the jumbotron before the game on the biggest stage, being able to get closer to my brother throughout the season and then meet him at the mountaintop,’ Travis said postgame. ‘It’s the best feeling in the world.’

Travis admitted it was tough to find the right words to say to his sibling, saying it was a ‘weird feeling.’

‘There’s nothing you can really say to a loved one in a situation like that,’ Travis said. ‘You joke around all the time and say that you want to beat your brother (on) the biggest stage ever, but it’s a weird feeling.

‘There’s nothing really I could say to him other than I love him and he played a hell of a year, a hell of a season.’

‘I’m just happy for him. Congratulations,’ Jason said of (and to) Travis. ‘It’s hard to get here. I haven’t quite let the emotion get to me yet. I’m sure we’ll have a more emotional interaction. Still frustrated at that point.

‘But really, really happy for Trav. Played his a** off. … Obviously would’ve loved to win, but happy for Trav for sure.’

The pair started a podcast together this season and with the next episode set to drop in a couple of days – if they stick to their schedule – it could be an interesting one.

‘Gonna be an awkward podcast,’ Jason joked.
