He posted the captionless snaps to Instagram that showed him gazing at the ocean, posing on rocks and having fun.

As the coronavirus pandemic continues to affect the country, he and Hailey returned to LA on May 21.

California recently became the fourth state with over 100,000 cases of the novel coronavirus, according to CNN, as the United States recently recorded 100,000 deaths due to the virus.

Hailey recently said she’s creating some of her ‘favorite memories’ during quarantine with Justin.

The couple showed off their domestic side as they taught fans how to make gluten-free chocolate chip cookies during this week’s episode of their Facebook Watch series The Biebers On Watch.

And Hailey and Justin certainly looked like they were enjoying their time inside, lavishing each other in affection while baking up their treats.

During their break the duo got sentimental, with Hailey sweetly telling Justin: ‘I love you and we’re creating my favorite memories ever.’

Mr. Bieber agreed, telling his other half: ‘I really enjoy this time with you. I know it’s been a really crazy time being in quarantine and the world is kind of upside-down but I’ve really enjoyed spending my time with you.’

Then he hammed it up a bit, quoting his new song Stuck With U, a collaboration with Ariana Grande.

‘I wouldn’t want to be stuck with anybody else,’ he said. ‘See what I did there?’

Hailey didn’t let his cheesy line slide, wagging her finger at the camera and saying: ‘It’s called marketing.’

The singer was spotted shooting hoops in the front yard of his home in the morning.

Justin – who donned all black for his solo basketball session – was glued to his phone as he made several baskets and leisurely dribbled.

Bieber, who recently talked about turning to God during troubled times, shared two faith-based posts on his Instagram prior to shooting hoops.

Reciting the fourth chapter of the Gospel of Matthew in the New Testament, Justin shared a verse about Jesus being tempted by the devil for 40 days and nights in the Judaean Desert.

In his snap, he can be seen sitting on a rock with his head down surrounded by nature by a still creek.

In another post, he quoted Luke 6:43-45, ‘For every tree is known by his own fruit.’

As if that were not enough Bieber to satiate a fan’s appetite, the Grammy nominated artist also uploaded a new episode of the Facebook Watch series he hosts with wife Hailey.

Justin Bieber shoots hoops after sharing a faith-based Instagram about resisting temptation

Justin Bieber and his wife Hailey Baldwin have been enjoying the sunny weather after returning to Los Angeles from Canada last week.

The 26-year-old Intentions hitmaker appeared to enjoy a relaxed game of hoops, as he dribbled and shot a number of baskets on Tuesday.

Despite showing off his impressive skills, the Grammy winner remained glued to his phone on the court.

The proverb is a common teaching among Christians not to judge others by the surface.

Bieber’s choice to use the latter verse nods to his recent interview asking fans not to judge him by his appearance and undergoing a ”spiral with anxiety’ when his Lyme’s Disease greatly affects his skin.

Earlier this month, his model wife slammed fans that began commenting on his acne during a Q&A for their The Biebers On Watch show on.

‘Obviously it’s been a challenging process, it’s hard to be in the public eye and have people pick on you, for suddenly having adult onset acne breakouts,’ the 23-year-old supermodel reminded viewers.

‘After having perfect skin his whole teenage life, he is working on it. When we were in LA he was seeing a dermatologist… so leave him alone! He’s working on it! It’s not his fault,’ she added.

Ahead of fans’ probing questions about his skin, Justin expanded on how his Christian faith has helped him when he was recently suffering.

He explained: ‘A few months ago, I was struggling emotionally and mentally, none of the (material) things did anything because I was so hurt and I was confused and I was so sick. You can’t enjoy the actual physical, tangible things that money offers. It really had to come from within.’

‘Going back to my faith in that time… it wasn’t money that got me through, taking the initiative to say I am struggling, I need help.’

Justin then praised Hailey for being there for him, adding that ‘knowing that God was there for me’ made him pull through.

He said: “Reading the Bible, there’s always these stories in the Bible, whether it was healing them, Jesus was (saying) if our souls aren’t secure, all the other things… the facts are that Jesus forgives us for all the wrong we have done in our past. I was forgiven in a time when I was hurt and broken.”

While Hailey said: “Making money is a blessing, living comfortably is a blessing… and we’re definitely grateful for that.”

Elsewhere, Hailey began to talk about the importance of getting therapy while acknowledging that it was not available to everyone, which Justin interrupted with: “It costs money.”

Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou’s US extradition case will proceed

Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou loses key court argument in fight against extradition to the US as Canadian judge rules her fraud case will proceed

  • Judge ruled that US extradition case against Meng Wanzhou, 48, can go forward
  • Wanzhou is CFO of Huawei and the daughter of Huawei founder, Ren Zhengfei
  • She was arrested in 2018 by Canadian officials and has been on house arrest
  • US accuses Huawei of using a Hong Kong shell company to sell equipment to Iran in violation of US sanctions and wants her extradited to face fraud charges
  • Ruling against Meng is expected to harm relations between Beijing and Ottawa

A Canadian judge ruled Wednesday the US extradition case against a senior Huawei executive can continue to the next stage, a decision that is expected to further harm relations between China and Canada.

Canada arrested China’s Meng Wanzhou, 48, the daughter of Huawei’s founder, at Vancouver’s airport in late 2018.

The US wants her extradited to face fraud charges. Her arrest infuriated Beijing, which sees her case as a political move designed to prevent China’s rise.

Associate Chief Justice Heather Holmes said in her decision the allegations against Meng could constitute a crime in Canada and the extradition could therefore proceed.

Meng is accused of committing fraud by misleading the HSBC bank about the company’s business dealings in Iran.

Meng’s lawyers argued during a hearing in January that the case is really about US sanctions against Iran, not a fraud case.

They maintain since Canada does not have similar sanctions against Iran, no fraud occurred under its laws.

‘Ms. Meng’s approach to the double criminality analysis would seriously limit Canada’s ability to fulfill its international obligations in the extradition context for fraud and other economic crimes,’ Holmes wrote.

Holmes said Canada did not have economic sanctions against Iran at the time but noted the sanctions used by the US ‘were not fundamentally contrary to Canadian values.’

The ruling against Meng, the company’s chief financial officer, is expected to further harm relations between Beijing and Ottawa.

In apparent retaliation for Meng’s arrest, China detained former Canadian diplomat Michael Kovrig and Canadian entrepreneur Michael Spavor.

China has also placed restrictions on various Canadian exports to China, including canola oil seed. China also handed a death sentence to a convicted Canadian drug smuggler in a sudden retrial.

Huawei is the biggest global supplier of network gear for phone and internet companies and some analysts say Chinese companies have flouted international rules and norms amid allegations of technology theft.

The company represents China’s progress in becoming a technological power and has been a subject of US security concerns.

Her legal team is scheduled to be back in court in June and will argue that Canada Border Services, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the FBI violated Meng’s rights while collecting evidence before she was actually arrested. Extradition cases typically take years in Canada.

Ahead of the decision, Meng posed for photos on the court steps this past weekend, giving a thumbs up sign.

She showed up to court on Wednesday wearing a black dress and wearing an ankle bracelet.
