While most people spent Boxing Day recovering from their Christmas festivities, Tammy Hembrow was straight back into the gym.

The 25-year-old fitness influencer took to Instagram on Thursday to share a series of videos of herself working out.

And she didn’t seem to be taking it easy, performing a variety of gruelling exercises, with a focus on weight training.

In one video, Tammy sits on a bench with a black resistance band around her thighs, and begins opening and closing her legs.

A second video sees her taking a sip from a water bottle in preparation for lifting a heavy-looking barbell.

She then moves onto another weight training exercise, which sees her lifting a weight across the back of her shoulders, while stepping up and down on a bench.

A final exercise shows Tammy holding a weight extended high above her head while performing a series of squats.  

‘Got my lemon ice tea with me & making sure I’m putting all that holiday food to good use,’ she captioned the videos. 

She added: ‘Who else LOVES training around the holidays?! Or is that just me lol’.

The Instagram model recently revealed that she maintains her enviable frame by ‘doing a lot of heavy weights’.

During an appearance on Studio 10 earlier this month, she explained: ‘You’re not going to build any muscle if you are not doing leg weights.’

‘I see a lot of girls doing cardio and this and that, it is not going to build any muscle really,’ she added.

When asked how heavy she goes with her weighted squats, the blonde shocked the panel by saying she could easily perform 60kg. 

The beauty also hit back at accusations that her famous derriere has been artificially enhanced.

‘I hate when people accuse me of doing that. I take such an offence to it because I’ve worked so hard and it makes me annoyed,’ she told the hosts.
